Happy design ! =)

HAPPY DESIGN
Today we talk about design's productions which make us feel happy, angry or that we find funny.
It will look strange but the thing I chose to present as a happy design's object was a portofolio. When I was in High school I used to have art lesson where we used big paper size. I don't know why but I really love my black portofolio. It's a very sober one, but a useful one too. It was easy to carry and because of the ribbon, nothing couldn't fell.
Mine was like this one :
Ahah it's  so cool. I wanted to paint on it a big cherry blossom tree or a big eye, but I didn't realize it. Too bad that I couldn't bring it in Australia.

This kind of portofolio are very famous in France, I saw a lot of people with one like that. But I don't really like them, they are not easy to carry and the elastics become bigger with the time.

)=   ANGRY DESIGN   =(
One of the design's production which make me angry is the 3D.
Now I think most movies don't really play with the 3D and it make our eyes tired. Later people will may be able to create good 3D movies which really use the 3D. But now, we sell 3D movies not for their story but just because of the 3D. It useless and more expensive.
For the time, a good story doesn't need 3D.

~* Funny design ! *~
For the funny design I chose the bento ! It's really beautiful and amazing.
Just have a look.

Flexible Love

Today, the lesson's subject was the "Innovative Design".
We had to choose an example and to explain what is it and why we like it.

I chose the Flexible Love which is an amazing chair !
The one who designed it is a taiwanese college student.
The name Flexible Love come from Flexible Love-seat and it's totally make of recycled materials (paper or wood).
The chair is very particular as we can changing his lenght and his shape as much as we want. It has a honeycomb structure et looks like an accordion. Sixteen persons are able to sit on this chair.

Well, just look this video to see how it work.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C3uaJEoeSek

The Flexible Love is innovative not only because it's make of recycled materials but because of the various  place it take. When we don't use it the chair can be almost invisible, but if we need it we have enought place for 16 persons ! However, even if the chair is hard, it still weak against liquid and fire.

I think the chair is really funny and useful.

Let's have a sit ?!

Enjoy the view !

Do you remember the picture of a bird's corpse on the post about Bondi Beach ?
Well...recently, on the way to go back home I was able to see a cat's corpse and each day, see him being damaged more and more. It was quite horrible because the body was close to a primary school. But now the body has disappear, yay !
I hope for not see a corpse every week.
Ahahah my life in Australia is... pretty exciting, doesn't it ?

Ps : I can still see the shape of the cat on the road...

The story of “Saint Nicolas” and of the “Père Fouettard”.

Once upon a time, there were three little children without any family or money. One night, they knocked on the butcher’s door to ask him for food and a place to sleep. The Butcher opened the door and agreed to let them stay in his home. But the butcher was a psychopath and he killed them to make food for his shop.

Seven years later, Saint Nicolas appeared. He went to the butcher’s house as he knew something wrong had happened there. He entered the house and quickly saw where the scraps of the children were. The butcher was really scared about being punished by Saint Nicolas but instead of punishing the bad guy, Saint Nicolas agreed with what he had done and, together, they happily ate the rest of the children.
Nowadays, the butcher is called “the Père Fouettard” and together with Saint Nicolas, they kill children to make them into food for the butcher’s shop.

AHAHAH, training exercice from school where we should subconvert a story. I choosed the story of Saint Nicolas who is very famous in my place. We celebrate each year Saint Nicolas who give us sweets.
Here a song we sang when we were litlle :

Ils étaient trois petits enfants
qui s'en allaient glaner aux champs.
Ils sont allés et tant venus
que sur le soir se sont perdus.
Ils sont allés chez le boucher :
- boucher, voudrais-tu nous loger ?

- Entrez, entrez, petits enfants,
Il y a de la place assurément.
Ils n'étaient pas sitôt entrés
que le boucher les a tués.
les a coupés en petits morceaux
et puis salés dans un tonneau.

Saint Nicolas au bout de sept ans
vint à passer dedans ce champ,
alla frapper chez le boucher :
- boucher, voudrais-tu me loger ?
- entrez, entrez Saint Nicolas.
Il y a de la place, il n'en manque pas.

- Du petit salés je veux avoir
qu'il y a sept ans est au saloir.
Quand le boucher entendit ça,
bien vivement il se sauva.
- Petits enfants qui dormez là,
je suis le grand Saint Nicolas.

Le grand Saint étendit trois doigts,
les trois enfants ressuscita.
Le premier dit : " j'ai bien dormi. ""
Le second dit : " et moi aussi. "
« Je me croyais au paradis »
A ajouté le plus petit.

It's a bit creepy but...full of relics.
